Meet the hero, or I mean, the villain (cough, Annabelle!). They form an amazing friendship where they support each other and form an alliance in order to find rich husbands. Annabelle and her friends were some of the best scenes in the book.Their friendship was all, it made the book even more enjoyable. I loved the relationship between the Wallflowers, Lillian is feisty and very much American, Evie is adorable and very much shy and Daisy is just a pixie who has magic and charm. With Annabelle comes her Wallflower friends.She wants freedom and goes to back to when life was better. She doesn’t want to be anyone’s mistress, even if that would be her last option. She hates her situation, will do anything to change it but there are things she’s not willing to do. Throughout the book, we see Annabelle, funny, caring, independent, and loving.

What can I say, the chemistry between these two was addictive, entertaining, and fascinating.

The moment lengthened uncomfortably, until Simon Hunt finally spoke.
